COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Three people are jailed after leading a short vehicle pursuit and running from Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s deputies in Comstock Township.
It began after deputies failed to pull the vehicle over for an improper license plate at around 12:06 a.m. Wednesday at South Sprinkle Road and Cork Street. Investigators say the occupants then drove south, abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.
The suspects were later tracked by police dogs taken into custody. All three were booked into the Kalamazoo County Jail on multiple charges.
Kalamazoo Public Safety, the Portage Police Department and the Kalamazoo Township Police Department assisted in the investigation, according to a press release.
