KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — The second of the four survivors from this month’s bike tragedy on North Westnedge Avenue in Cooper Township has been released from the hospital.
Paul Runnels has been sent home to continue his recovery. Sheila Jeske was the first to be released last week.
Of the two remaining, Paul Gobble was in serious condition and Jennifer Johnson was listed in good condition.
Four were injured and five were friends killed when police say a 50-year-old Charles Pickett Jr. of Battle Creek struck them in a pickup.
Pickett has been charged with five counts of second-degree murder for causing the crash.
