KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is looking for a few good men and women again as they prepare for their next wave of retirements.
Interested parties only have until Tuesday to go online and fill out an application.
The pay scale is a little higher for those with firefighter certification, but previous experience is not a requirement. They do require that you have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license and be at least 21.
They would prefer candidates who come from the Kalamazoo area or have experience living and working in urban areas.
Be prepared for written and physical agility tests, and an extensive background check.
The press release doesn’t say how many openings they have.
