MOTTVILLE TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Just because somebody leaves it by the side of the road, that doesn’t always mean that it’s free for the taking.
The owner of a 1999 Harley Davidson “Fat Boy” motorcycle experienced mechanical problems and had to leave it parked alongside U.S. 131 near Indian Prairie Road in Mottville Township on Friday. He hiked from the scene to get help.
Michigan State Police report the motorcycle was gone when the biker returned at around 8 p.m.
Anyone with information in regard to the stolen motorcycle is asked to call the Michigan State Police post in Marshall at (269) 558-0500.
