ST. JOSEPH, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Authorities are investigating after a Berrien County Jail inmate was found dead Saturday morning.
Berrien County Sheriff deputies say 42-year-old David Wright of Benton Harbor, was found dead at 8:55 a.m. in a medical cell.
According to a release from the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office, the Michigan State Police were called to investigate, “Out of an abundance of caution.”
An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death
