KALAMAZOO MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The trial of a former Kalamazoo pastor accused of sex crimes has been postponed until next year.
A hearing held Thursday regarding Strick Strickland determined that the proceedings would take place in May of 2022.
Strickland is waiting for a public defender to be assigned to his case.
He was charged with 11 counts of criminal sexual conduct and human trafficking in connection with allegations that he paid teenaged boys to have sex with his wife Jazmonique.
Charges against his wife were dismissed earlier this year.
