OSHTEMO (WKZO-AM) –The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the hit-and-run driver who crashed an SUV into a room at the Red Roof Inn in Oshtemo, and then fled on foot with a passenger.
They left the vehicle sticking out of the room, which was vacant at the time of the crash Sunday.
The passenger returned and was reportedly questioned.
Officials at the motel said they will have to rebuild the room, but there doesn’t appear to be any structural damage to the building.
