KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety has opened death investigation after they received reports of a man lying on the ground in the 300 block of South Rose Street.
The discovery was made at around 10 p.m. Wednesday. The name of the 55-year-old is not being released.
Officers found him bleeding from a head injury and in cardiac arrest.
He was rushed to Bronson Methodist Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
There were no indications of foul play, but an autopsy is planned to determine the precise cause of death.
