OSHTEMO (WKZO-AM) — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a 15-year-old runaway who is believed to be in the Kalamazoo area.
Kyra Sherer is 4-foot-11, weighs 140 pounds and has dirty blonde hair with reddish streaks, according to a press release from the agency.
The Oshtemo girl was reported missing Saturday, along with her mother’s vehicle. She told relatives she was safe and out-of-state after the vehicle was found near the Kalamazoo Transportation Center, but investigators couldn’t find a record of her purchasing a bus or train ticket.
She’s friends with 18-year-old Dion Hulbert, who lives in the area.
