BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The City of Battle Creek and the Battle Creek Bombers have agreed to a new five year lease agreement that will keep the Northwoods League team at C.O. Brown Stadium through 2026. The old lease expired at the end of the 2021 season.
Former General Manager Brian Colopy has completed the purchase of the team from Northwoods League founders Dick and Kathy Radatz.
This is the first ownership change since the inception of the Bombers in 2007.
The Bombers also announced they will be rebranding the team.
A Name the Team contest involving the fans will be conducted through next Tuesday.

Team names will be compiled with fans being able to vote for a final list of names after the initial submission period.
The fan that ultimately picks the team name will win season tickets for life.
