CASS COUNTY (WKZO-AM) — Two people are recovering after a tree fell on their vehicle while they were driving on Decatur Road in Cass County.
Sheriff’s investigators say 64-year-old Kathy Lull refused medical treatment for her minor injuries after the incident near Marcellus Highway at around 10 a.m. Thursday.
Her passenger, 91-year-old Oliver Scott of Niles, suffered a non-life threatening head injury. He was taken to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
Drugs and alcohol appear to not be factors in the wreck, according to a press release.
