KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Champions will be determined this weekend at the United States Tennis Association Boys’ 18 and 16 National Championships.
It will culminate at Stowe Stadium on the Kalamazoo College campus.
“Saturday, we have the 16 and 18 doubles final, then on Sunday we have the 16 and 18 singles final,” Mark Riley, the tournament’s director, said on Friday.
Dozens of players have been making their way through the brackets since last week. Riley said the community will be treated to exciting matchups on “championship weekend.”
“As residents of Kalamazoo, we get to see the best tennis players in American here every year,” Riley said. “We’re just fortunate.”
The singles and doubles winners in the 18 division will get wildcard berths into the U.S. Open, Riley said.
Adult tickets on both days are $10. Additional information on the event can be found here.
