LANSING MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Governor Whitmer has announced that Michigan drivers need to remember that if their auto insurance has lapsed, they still have time to reinstate it penalty free before the deadline of January 1, 2022.

Whitmer also said that drivers should see another reduction in their rates, depending on their choice of PIP coverage, due to recent reform measures signed into law.

She stated that, in addition to the rate reduction, drivers are set to receive a refund from the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association, which will result in even more savings.
