NOTTAWA TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — One person from Kalamazoo is jailed on multiple charges and another is at large after St. Joseph County Sheriff’s deputies say they led a 140 mph chase on motorcycles.
The pursuit began after deputies spotted both drivers traveling at over 120 mph on M66 near Jacksonburg Road late Saturday.
The suspect who was arrested was found hiding behind a home near Swan and South streets in Colon.
The second rider fled down M86, then traveled southbound on Fairfax Road. Investigators say that person was on a dark motorcycle and was wearing a white jersey with a black checkered pattern and a red stripe at the time of the pursuit.
