KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo Animal Rescue will celebrate its 25th anniversary with an adoption event this Saturday.
Carrie Lynch is with the no-kill shelter. She says they’ll set up shop outside the Petsmart on West Main Street.
“Forty-five cats are signed up to come up,” Lynch said. “And we’ll have four dogs visiting.”
She said the agency will reduce adoption fees if potential pet-owners bring donations.
“If our potential adopters come bring cat food, cat litter, dog food, we’ll actually give them a discount on adoption fees,” Lynch said.
They’ll also offer a $10 credit for people who have pre-screened applications. The event is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
More information can be found on the agency’s website.
