KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A fire at a commercial building on East Kilgore in Kalamazoo Sunday remains under investigation.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says an officer on patrol saw the fire at the commercial building in the 1900 block of East Kilgore.
They say smoke was observed coming from the roof of the unoccupied building. Additional arriving officers got the fire under control and extinguished within 15 minutes.
A Kalamazoo Township Fire Marshall assisted KDPS in determining the cause of the fire.
The circumstances surrounding this fire are unknown at this time and are under investigation.
