KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Officials from Michigan’s Sierra Club are traveling the state to let members and other interested parties know who they are supporting in the November election.
They stopped in Kalamazoo Wednesday night to release their list and give local candidates a chance to explain their positions on green issues.
The group’s Mike Berkowitz says while polls show that most voters are environmentally concerned, there are other issues get more weight when they fill out their ballot.
They are trying to change that dynamic. You can find their endorsements at their website.
