KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) Students in Kalamazoo Public schools were greeted as they got off the bus by successful adults from all walks of life, businessmen, politicians, celebrities and others who encouraged them to make the best of the opportunity.
Superintendent Michael Rice says most of the learning that will take place today will be basic orientation, learning where their lockers are and the bathrooms, when and where to they get lunch and their bus stop.
For the students of Millwood Middle School everything was new as they moved back into their completely rebuilt and renovated facility.
