STURGIS (WKZO-AM) — Two people are jailed after an undisclosed “large amount” of methamphetamine and cash was found near the scene of a wreck early Thursday in Sturgis.
It happened at around 12:30 a.m. at Cato Lane and South Street after an attempted traffic stop.
A 46-year-old Burr Oak man was arrested for possession, resisting and obstructing, reckless driving and driving with a suspended license after he reportedly failed to flee the scene of the crash on foot.
A 28-year-old Sturgis woman was also arrested on a possession charge.
