KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — It’s a busy “town-and-gown” weekend on the Western Michigan University campus and it begins Friday.
Bronco Bash is designed to give students an introduction to local shops and banks where they may want to do business. They can also get exposure to a wide range of on-campus organizations and opportunities they may want to get involved with.
They have booked 450 booths.
It runs from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the mall in front of Sangren Hall on Friday afternoon.
Saturday is CommUniversity Night, a big community tailgate which gives local firms a chance to invite clients out to a brief party and then a football game.
Head Coach P.J. Fleck says you may not have heard of North Carolina Central, but it should be a good game.
The party starts at 4:30 p.m. and the kickoff is at 7 p.m. If it rains, there are tents.
