KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — A 42-year-old Kalamazoo man suffered several stab wounds, none of them life threatening after some sort of confrontation with his girlfriend in the 1400 block of North Park early this morning.
Public Safety was dispatched as the victim told them who had stabbed him and that he would be seeking his own medical treatment. He told police that they could find her at a home in the 400 block of W. Frank Street.
Officers saw her inside when they knocked, but she disappeared and refused to answer.
They obtained a search warrant, went in and made the arrest after finding evidence of an assault. The 36-year-old female has been booked into the Kalamazoo County Jail on a felonious domestic assault charge.
