KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — A 71-year-old Kalamazoo man died after his vehicle went out of control and crashed in Cooper Township right around 7:00 Saturday morning.
Deputies are still trying to determine why he went off East D Avenue. The truck left the pavement, went down an embankment and slammed into several trees.
The victim was wearing his seatbelt. He was taken to Borgess Medical Center where he later died.
Crash investigators have ruled out speed and alcohol as factors. They would like to talk to anyone who may have witnessed the crash.
The victim’s name has not been released.
