KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Home prices in the Kalamazoo-Portage area increased another 6.2 percent in August compared to figures from a year ago, matching the average increase seen nationally.
Financial information firm CoreLogic said the median home price is about one percent higher compared to figures from July.
The group also anticipates local prices to rise another 5.3 percent by next August.
The statewide average saw a 5.4 percent gain during the same period.
