KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — A man is on the run after Kalamazoo Public Safety says he shot another man outside a strip club.
It happened in the parking lot of the Deja Vu nightclub at around 1:20 a.m. after an altercation between the gunman and the victim. A fight fight may have occurred before then, according to a press release.
The victim, described as a 37-year-old man, checked himself into Bronson Methodist Hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his arm. The victim is said to not be cooperating with the investigation.
Police believe the suspect fled the scene on Ravine Road in a dark-colored sedan with two other people.
The suspect is described as a bearded man in his early-to-mid 20s with a dark complexion. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans at the time of the incident, according to witnesses at the scene.
