WOODLAND TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Sheriff’s deputies in Barry County say a driver is dead after a wreck in Woodland Township on Tuesday.
The northbound vehicle drove off M-66 south of Davenport Road and struck a tree after 3 a.m.
The driver was pronounced dead at a hospital in Grand Rapids after being extracted from the wreckage and airlifted from the scene, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.
It’s not clear what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway. The driver has not yet been identified.
