KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Western Michigan University head football coach P.J. Fleck could be rewarded with a raise if he ignores overtures from big program suitors and stays in Kalamazoo for another year.
WMU athletic director Kathy Beauregard tells the Detroit News the school is considering a renegotiation of Fleck’s contract.
Fleck makes $800,000 a year and is already the top-paid coach in the Mid-American Conference.
The Broncos are looking to extend their record to 9-0 at Ball State on Tuesday.
