PENN TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A 67-year-old Vandalia resident sustained injuries after losing control of his All Terrain Vehicle on his Penn Township property in Cass County on Saturday, November 6.
The Cass County Sheriff said his office was called around 4:50 p.m. to investigate ATV accident in the area of Myrtle Drive and Vans Lane.
Deputies say Gary Tinnell was operating his ATV when he lost control, causing it to flip on it’s side.
Tinnell suffered minor injuries from the accident and was taken Elkart General Hospital.
Investigators say he was not wearing a helmet, but that alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor.
