KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — The Kalamazoo Valley Museum is planning to ring in the holiday season with a special event after the parade.
“Home Made Gifts” will get underway at noon at the museum’s downtown facility on North Rose Street.
“It’s sort of tied into our sustainable shelters exhibit,” Bill McElhone, the director of the museum, said. “We’re looking at recycled goods being turned into gifts and projects for our kids to work on.”
The event will run through 4 p.m.
“Part of the prorgam will also include about a 30-minute concert,” McElhone said.
The Kalamazoo Children’s Chorus will provide that concert outside the museum’s planetarium.
Admission is free.
