KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Borderline lunacy may be the best way to describe the crowd that turned up to stand out in the cold and cheer as the ESPN sports commentators talked about college football for three hours Saturday morning.
Even the Gameday panel were a little surprised that the crowd didn’t thin out, given the fact that it all took place during a snow storm.
Greg Jennings, the former Bronco-turned-Green-Bay-Packer was their “guest picker.”
It may take a while for the landscaping in Sangren Plaza to recover and for the grounds crew to find all the beer cans under the snow.
At the end, Lee Corso put on the head of Buster Bronco, he claimed it was because he was cold, but it was also because he was picking the Broncos to beat Buffalo.
Everyone cheered and it was the end of a one-of-a-kind event in Western Michigan University history.
