FABIUS TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — A commercial driver is said to be fine after overturning a semitrailer hauling livestock at U.S. 131 and M-60 in Fabius Township.
Sheriff’s investigators in St. Joseph County say a car drove in front of the commercial vehicle Friday afternoon, causing it to drive into a median. The semi was travelling southbound on U.S. 131.
Most of the animals inside were successfully extracted from the vehicle and taken to their final destination, according to a press release.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was not hurt.
