KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety says it’s looking for a man who attempted to snatch a woman’s purse in the 400 block of Davis Street.
She was struck in the face during the incident, which happened at around 12:40 a.m. Wednesday. The victim had to be rushed to Borgess Medical Center by ambulance for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect is said to be six feet tall. He was wearing a beanie-style hat, a dark Carhartt jacket and black pants at the time of the incident. Officers were unable to track the suspect with police dogs.
