KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety needs your help finding a boy who has run away from home.
Michael Poliak, 14, is autistic and developmentally delayed but high-functioning. He has run away from home before, eventually being found along South Westnedge Avenue in Portage, where he would seek shelter from cold weather in open businesses.
He is a young male, about 5-foot-7 and weighs 155 pounds with black hair. He was wearing a lightweight grey zip-up jacket and black tennis shoes. He also may be wearing black gloves and a brown plaid winter hat with ear flaps.
He may try to hide from authorities.
Give local authorities or 911 a call if you spot him.
