UNDATED (WKZO-AM)– Road conditions have gotten worse overnight in West Michigan, but it isn’t the arctic disaster that some forecasters were predicting. Not yet anyway.
The winter storm warning is in effect until 4 p.m. Friday.
Susan Hiltz at AAA says, when you venture out, it would still be a good idea to take your time because most of us still don’t quite have our winter driving skills back just yet, and there are slick spots out there.
The snow is expected to continue on and off with periods of sunshine in between as the Lake Effect snow will continue through today and into tonight.
It will finally taper off, but a major winter storm is expected to slam into the area on Sunday.
