TEXAS TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s detectives are working with the FBI to try and track down the suspect who generated a bomb threat that forced an evacuation of the Wings West Arena early Saturday.
The caller reportedly told a news reporter that several bombs had been placed around the facility in the 5000 Sports Drive off 9th Street in Oshtemo, and that they would go off through the day.
A search was conducted using K9s and it was determined the call was a hoax.
The 2016 Holiday Ice Revue, which was scheduled to begin that afternoon, was pushed back half an hour but the other afternoon and evening events went on as scheduled.
