KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — The cold weather has cracked a water main at a major intersection on Kalamazoo’s south west side, which closed Oakland Drive at Parkview early Sunday morning and most of the daylight hours.
There are no easy alternative routes especially for those living in Oakwood.
The city says it hopes to reopen the road late this afternoon.
In the meantime they are advising drivers to avoid the area.
