KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — The second suspect in the shooting death of WMU student Jake Jones has been formally charged and denied bond.
20-year-old Jordan Dangelo Waire of Muskegon has been formally charged with Felony murder, armed robbery, being a felon in possession of a gun and three other gun felonies. He was arrested in his hometown Thursday night.
He has previously been arrested for home invasion and obstructing an officer.
He joins former WMU Basketball Player Joeviair Kennedy behind bars, facing charges for the alleged attempted drug-ripoff at Soho Apartments that suddenly turned deadly over a week ago.
Both played on a team that won a High School State basketball championship for Muskegon two years ago.
