NEWBURG TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — A teenager from Indiana was killed when the car he was riding went out of control on an ice-covered M-40 in Cass County on Sunday.
It happened during the noon. The car slammed head on into a vehicl coming in the opposite direction.
Deputies say 18-year-old Matthew Miller was dead at the scene of the crash in Newburg Township.
The 17-year-old driver who lost control, and the two occupants of the other vehicle, a 62-year-old woman from Kalamazoo and a 33-year-old from Grand Rapids, were taken to Three Rivers Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Their conditions are not known.
