KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Western Michigan University head football Coach P.J. Fleck says contract negotiations with the school continue, but they are taking a back seat to preparations for the Cotton Bowl against Wisconsin.
At a news conference Monday, Fleck confirmed talks have been ongoing for him to stay in Kalamazoo. But also said working on his contract takes a back seat to everything else that is going on right now
He says they will get a few days off for Christmas with their families and leave for Dallas on Monday.
Fleck said he wants to make sure his team will have a full experience to remember for the rest of their lives.
