KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Ministry with Community will be hosting the homeless Christmas morning, handing out underware and sox, gloves and scarves and other presents to help the homeless cope with the cold.
There will also be other gifts and candy. It will be held at 10 a.m. at the drop-in center on North Church.
For the 35th year, The Blue Dolphin in Kalamazoo will be offering a free Christmas dinner to anyone who is poor, homeless, elderly, lonely or on their own on Sunday.
They will be serving up prime rib, ham, steak and turkey at their restaurant at Burdick and Cedar just south of the Downtown Mall.
They expect to serve about 1800 meals from noon to 3pm on Christmas Day.
