RICHLAND TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM)– Two people have been hospitalized in serious condition after a snow related crash on a slippery stretch of East G Avenue in Richland Township around 5:30 Thursday evening.
Kalamazoo County Deputies say the driver of an east bound vehicle was trying to avoid the wrecks of two cars involved in a previous slide-off.
That driver lost control and slide into the path of a west bound car and was struck. Deputies say the road surfaces were snow covered and icy.
Both occupants of the east bound vehicle were rushed to Borgess Medical Center for emergency treatment.
The occupants of the west bound car were treated at the scene and released.
