PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Portage Parks & Recreation will host “Monster Mash” at Ramona Park (8600 South Sprinkle Road) this Saturday, October 30, from 3 to 7 p.m.
The event includes trick-or-treating, hay wagon rides through a spooky trail, take-home crafts, concessions from Ibison Concessions and Lazy Man Bar-B-Que, on-site magic tricks, airbrush tattoos, games and more.
Monster Mash will be followed by a drive-in style movie screening of Hocus Pocus at dusk, approximately 7 p.m. Parking for the movie begins at 6 p.m. and is first come, first served.
Donations for unused, new or gently-used coats, hats, gloves, scarves and other winter apparel will also be accepted at the Portage Parks & Recreation tent during Monster Mash. Officials say those donations will benefit the Portage Community Center and Family & Children Services.
Monster Mash is free and open to the public. No registration is required and dressing up is strongly encouraged.
Parking will be on-site at Ramona Park, and no parking is allowed along any nearby city streets.
