KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The American Rescue Plan (ARP) Responsive Grant, which provides funds to support nonprofits impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, is accepting qualification forms until 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29.
Officials say the form will be used to ensure eligibility and assess an organization’s financial systems.
The City of Kalamazoo is joining up with the United Way of the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Region (BCKR) and the Kalamazoo Community Foundation to administer a $1 million portion of Kalamazoo’s Federal American Rescue Plan (ARP) State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds.
Officials add that through this open ARP Responsive Grant process, local nonprofit partners are invited to submit funding requests.
Specifically, requests for work that aligns with ARP eligible expenditure categories, as well as the City of Kalamazoo’s priorities around the economy, housing and youth, are being sought.
Those interested can learn more by visiting the United Way of BCKR website.
