LANSING, MI (WTVB) – Former Michigan State University gymnastics coach Kathie Klages is guilty of lying to police in the Larry Nassar investigation in 2018.
A jury convicted Klages on one felony count and one misdemeanor count of lying to a peace officer. Investigators said she lied when she said she did not remember two gymnasts telling her about Nassar’s abuse back in 1997.
Nassar, a former MSU sports doctor, is in prison for sexually assaulting hundreds of patients under the guise of medical treatment.
