ONSTED, MI (WTVB) – A Lenawee County man is blasting the U.S. State Department for not helping get Americans like him and his wife home amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Steve Muth of Onsted, Michigan and his wife have been at a hotel in Cambodia since Thursday when they were let off their cruise ship after the vessel was quarantined. He says he’s shocked that the nation’s ambassador to Cambodia has not been to their hotel, as there are more than 600 Americans stuck there waiting to get home.
Muth also is now fearful that anyone who speaks out about not being able to easily get back to the U.S. will find it harder to travel.
