BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Battle Creek Police say they have talked to the driver of a vehicle that hit a young girl on Wednesday night and then took off.
Police say the driver is cooperating with investigators.
Officers were called at about 8:00 p.m. following the incident in the area of Goodale and North Avenues.
The girl’s parents were notified by police. She was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Battle Creek police say the driver was located at a home later in the evening around 9:30 p.m..
