LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A state senator who initially denied he wore a face mask that had a Confederate flag on it during a Senate vote is now apologizing for wearing it.
Sen. Dale Zorn, R-Ida, said that the mask in question was made for him by his wife, and he thinks that it represented the state flag of Kentucky or Tennessee.
Zorn said it was an “error in judgement” for which there is no excuse.
