Drug investigation in Cass County leads to arrest, four others likely to be charged

ONTWA TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Cass County investigators arrested one person and detained four others Tuesday after a search of a home uncovered large amounts of meth, meth-making materials, and other illegal narcotics. The Drug Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at a residence in the 69000 block of M-62 in Ontwa Township after observing suspicious activity there.

A 38-year-old male was arrested on drug possession charges. Detectives are submitting charges to the Cass County Prosecutor’s Office on the other four occupants who were at the home. All the names of the suspects are being withheld pending arraignment and the investigation into the case continues.
