LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — State residents can now text to a hotline that will afford them mental health resources.
Texting ‘RESTORE’ to 741741 will put those who need help in touch with a counselor 24/7,
The Michigan Dept of Health and Human Services “Stay Home, Stay Well” initiative is making the texting avenue available.
Those who need help can also access it at the ‘Headspace’ website, and can also get assistance from the American Red Cross Disaster Distress Hotline at 800-985-5990
