DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Water levels on Lake Michigan continue to set records.
The lake is currently 3 inches above the former high level set in 1986, and is expected to rise two more inches by next month.
It is 34 inches higher than the normal average in May.
The US Army Corps of Engineers considers Michigan and Huron as one lake.
The other Great Lakes are either even or lower than their respective record levels in May
