LANSING, MI (WTVB) – All retail businesses in Michigan are allowed to reopen today, so long as their employees are trained on how to use personal protective equipment and how to stop the spread of coronavirus.
The retailers now allowed to open up will have to limit the number of people to 10 in their stores.
Auto dealerships are also allowed to be open by appointment only as part of the rolling back of the stay-home order by Governor Whitmer announced last week prior to her extension of it through June 12 late Friday afternoon.
More medical, dental, and veterinary procedures will be allowed starting Friday.
Michigan Retailers Association spokeswoman Meegan Holland says stores are ready to reopen with the new rules.
